you, but we recommend several stitch welds
along each side of the perimeter, plus a few
along the center frame rods to prevent oil-
canning and rattling. For the welds along the
perimeter, put the welds to the inside of the
frame rod.

4. Paint the assembled door, including the
Door Skin, frame and welds. You may also
choose to send it to your local powdercoater.
If painting at home, thoroughly clean the
surface of the Door Skin, roughen it slightly
with a sander, and apply a quality self-etching
primer followed by your choice of color.
5. Re-install the latch mechanism, and install
the assembled door onto the Jeep.
