ARD Status Icons
The ARD status icon appears in the menu bar of each ARD client. The status icon has
several states, depending on the status of the client computer.
TCP and UDP Port Reference
ARD uses the following TCP and UDP ports for the functions indicated.
Icon What it means
Not Active
ARD has been installed but is not currently running on the client
computer.
Ready
ARD is installed and running on the client.
Administered
ARD is installed and running on the client computer, and the
administrator is currently performing an ARD task on the client.
