Resources for Solving Problems
If you run into problems while working with Final Cut Server, there are several resources
you can use to find a solution.
• Release Notes: The Release Notes document, available from the Final Cut Server Help
menu, provides up-to-date information that didn’t make it into the manual. Be sure to
consult this document as soon as you install or upgrade Final Cut Server.
• AppleCare Knowledge Base: AppleCare Support maintains a database of common support
issues that is updated and expanded to include new issues as they arise. This is an
excellent, free resource for Final Cut Server users. To access the AppleCare Knowledge
Base, go to the AppleCare support page at
• AppleCare Support: There are a variety of support options available to Final Cut Server
customers. For details, see the service and support information that came with
Final Cut Server.
Contacting AppleCare Support
Information about the support options available from Apple is included in your
Final Cut Server box. Several levels of support are available. Whatever your issue, it’s a
good idea to have the following information immediately available when you contact
Apple for support. The more of this information you have to give to the support agents,
the faster they will be able to address your issue.
