Using Audio Devices
Your iMac G5 comes with comprehensive audio capabilities, including built-in stereo
speakers, a combination headphone out/optical audio out port to connect headphones
or digital audio equipment, and an analog audio line-in port.
Headphone Out/Optical Audio Out Port
Connect a pair of headphones to the combination headphone out/optical audio out
port (f ) and listen to music without disturbing anyone around you.
You can also connect your iMac G5 to an AV receiver using an optical audio cable with
a mini-plug connector and set up an iMac G5-based home theater system.
