5

Open Directory Access and enable NetInfo.

Click the checkbox next to “Attempt to connect to a specific NetInfo server.”

8

Type the server’s IP address (10.0.0.1) in the Server Address field, “network” in the Server
Tag field, click OK, then click Apply.

A student can now log in to any student computer using the name and password you
assigned when you created the account in Workgroup Manager. The student’s home
directory is also available regardless of the computer he or she uses, and the student will
have access to shared folders and the shared printer.
