Storing Speed-Dial numbers
You can store Speed-Dial numbers, so that when you dial you will
only have to press a few keys (
Search/Speed Dial , # , the two-digit
number, and Mono Start or Colour Start ). The FAX-1835C,
FAX-1840C and MFC-3240C can store 40 Speed-Dial numbers and
the FAX-1940CN and MFC-3340CN can store 100 Speed-Dial
numbers.

Use the dial pad to enter a two-digit
Speed-Dial location number
(01-40 for FAX-1835C, FAX-1840C and MFC-3240C)
(00-99 for FAX-1940CN and MFC-3340CN).
(For example, press 05 .)

Enter the phone or fax number (up to 20 digits).
Press Menu/Set .
