Before transporting the washing machine:
- Turn off the water tap.
- Release the water pressure in the supply hose
(refer to Page 54).
- Drain any residual washing solution (refer to
Page 52).
- Disconnect the washing machine from the mains.
- Detach the hoses.
- Install the lower 2 transport bolts.
Having transported the appliance and ensured
proper installation and connection, allow the Drain"
programme to run through before starting the first
wash programme.
q Remove the 2 lower covers.
q Prepare the transport bolts:
Loosen the screw in the sleeve until the end of the
screw is level with the end of the sleeve.
q Through the open washing machine door have
a second person pull the top of the drum forwards
and hold in this position.
Insert the transportation protection devices 1 and
2 and tighten the bolts. The washer lugs must be
located in the groove in the rear panel of the
housing.
