4.2.1 Installing the actuator on the InjectMan
®
NI 2 or micromanipulators from other
manufacturers
1. Loosen the knurled screw on the micromanipulator tool holder.
4. Set an angle between 0° and 25°. The flatter the angle, the more direct the effect of the
piezo impulses.
2. Insert the actuator into the support.
3. Tighten the knurled screw.
Hint!
The PiezoXpert will only optimally transmit the piezo impulses to the capillaries if it is
firmly mounted.
•
Ensure that the actuator is secured and cannot be moved in the support.
