5.1 SURROUND
17-24=AUX/GRP & 5.1 SURROUND SWITCHES
17-24=AUX+GRP
This recessed switch swaps the interface sends on channels 17-24 from
the mono input channels to the Aux 1-4 outputs and the four group
outputs. Useful when it is required to send groups of channels to a
DAW for recording or processing.
5.1 Surround monitor switch
Another recessed switch (to prevent accidental operation). This switch
enables 6 channels from the interface return (25-30) to be used for 5.1
surround mix monitoring from a DAW. The interface return signals are
routed through a single level control to six jack sockets on the rear
panel.
The selected stereo monitor source will be disconnected from the
monitoring system, but if the AFL or PFL system is activated, this will
override the 5.1 Surround monitoring present the PFL/AFL signals on
the control room or alternate speakers.
