3.3 Alamo Precast Gel Preparation, con’t.
4) Place loaded upper reservoir onto lower
reservoir assembly.
5) Place sample applicator between glass
plates.
6) Gently tap down until it makes contact
with the gel.
7) Keep tapping down the sample ap-
plicator until the gel “pillows” up into
the sample wells.
8) Turn buffer cycling pump “ON”
(toggle switch will be in “I” position)
until upper reservoir is filled (over top
of sample applicator).
Displace any
bubbles in sample wells.
