How to Use

Quick Start
a. Insert desired blade(s). See

Changing Blades for detailed

instructions.

*Remember to slide out 2 Thickness

Julienne Blade when not required.

b. Select thickness setting

c. Press food into prongs of hand

guard (see Using Hand Guard

detailed instructions).

d. Hold mandoline in a 45 degree

angle. Lean feet on cutting board

or bowl notch onto bowl for

support. Place hand guard with

food on start position (see image

below), position plunger so arrows

on plunger point towards the

handle.

e. Using quick downward stroke, slide

hand guard along the SGT Platform

while applying even pressure. Food

will slice as it glides along blade.

TIP: For a cleaner slice, remember to

lift Hand guard slightly during each

upward stroke as you reset to the start

position.

Adjusting Thickness setting
a. Turn adjustment dial to desired

slicing thickness. Dial will raise and

lower the SGT Platform. Slicing

thickness can be adjusted from 1

mm to 6 mm.

b. After use, turn adjustment dial to

lock position.

Using the Hand guard
a. Press food into the

prongs to secure

for slicing. Plunger

will rise as you

press.
