DESCRIPTION
The enclosed C7052C Ultraviolet/Infrared (UV/IR)
Detector is used with Det-Tronics model R7409 UV/IR
Controller. The C7052C is an explosion-proof, dust-
tight, and water-tight housing that is designed for
installation in hazardous locations in both indoor and
outdoor environments.
All installation and maintenance instructions pertain-
ing to the C7052C are contained within the
R7409C/C7052C system instruction manual (form 95-
8317) which is packed with the R7409C Controller
when shipped.
INITIAL INSTALLATION
When performing initial system startup, read the entire
system manual prior to installing the C7052C
Detectors to ensure that all important factors are con-
sidered, such as detector positioning, presence of
radiation absorbing gases and vapors, potential false
alarm sources, and wiring requirements. These and
other factors are discussed in the system manual.
REPLACEMENT
Detailed mounting instructions are contained in the
system instruction manual (form 95-8317), however,
for convenience, the C7052C dimensions are shown
in Figure 1. Dimensions for the optional Q9001 Swivel
Mounting Bracket are shown in Figure 2.
