10.5 Changing device configuration (using DIPswitches)

DIPswitch
The devices can be configured using the DIPswitches. The following settings are
possible:

Changing system family (AR/AP switching)
Pay attention to any different factory settings on your device! You will find informa-
tion on this aspect on the data sheet supplied and on the sticker in the space for
the electrical wiring.

Caution!
Malfunction due to incorrect configuration or incorrect connection.

Note that the terminal assignment assignment also changes on changing
the configuration (see section Terminal assignment and contact description,
page 22).
1. Switch off power supply.
2. Set DIPswitches 1,2 and 5 as shown.
For changing from AR => AP

3. Switch the power supply on for at least 5 seconds.

The change is confirmed by the illumination of the Power LED. All other LEDs
are off.
4. Switch off power supply and set DIPswitch 5 to OFF.
¨
The next time the device is started, it operates in the operating mode set.
