This unit has a smooth BC108 Transistor Fuzz with an active tone
control, and a second footswitch that activates a searing Octave-
up. We now include a "Fat"/"Bright" switch that allows you to
choose between two vastly different tonal contours affecting both
the distortion and Octave settings!
This unit is not fussy in that it tracks well on either pickup most
anywhere on the neck, although the neck pickup offers extreme
octave clarity. You can dial in excessive amounts of "Octave" with
the "Tone" control, and by reducing the "Distortion" while
increasing the "Volume".
I suggest that this unit be positioned after wah-wah and before
other distortion units in your signal-chain.
Always disconnect the "in" jack when not in use so that you won't
run down the battery, and I recommend using a Carbon-Zinc
battery such as the Eveready "Classic" or "Super Heavy-Duty".
Unit has a DC adapter jack that is Negative Tip 9volt, and
use only a 2.1mm shaft diameter connector with it.
Fulltone products carry a 5 year warranty to the original owner with proof of purchase.
The Warranty covers damage by our errors only, and not any mod or repair done by
anyone other than Fulltone without prior written consent! Footswitches are warranted for
1 year, and batteries are not covered. Customer pays shipping in advance, and all
warranty work must be preceded by a phone call for scheduling. Fulltone Musical
Products Inc. is not responsible for injuries incurred while using our products nor any
damage to other items related or non related to the use our products.
