3.2 Hardware controller

Generally speaking, the B-CONTROL can control any MIDI-capable hardware. This example shows a setup

with a MIDI keyboard, a sound module and an effects unit. The effects unit is connected in series using the

MIDI THRU connector on the sound module, thus receiving the looped-through MIDI control data of the

BCN44. The key data (note, pitch bend etc.) are mixed with the controller data of the BCN44, provided that

the MIDI Merge function (see ch. 2) is activated.

Of course, you can also control the often hard-to-access sound parameters of a keyboard in real time.

Connect MIDI OUT of the BCN44 to MIDI IN of your keyboard.
