Instructions for Computer Mode are
supplied on the CD ROM which comes
withtheICC50HD.
10×eyepieceshaveafixedcircularfield
ofviewof18mmor20mmdiameter.The
LeicaICC50HD’sfieldofview,however,isrect-
angularwithadiagonalof16.4mmtoensure
anevenfieldonthedigitalimage.Asaresult,
the image field of the camera is smaller than
theobjectfieldseenthroughtheeyepieces.
Installing and Connecting
1. InserttheprovidedCDintoyourcomputer,
andfollowtheinstructionstoloadthesoft-
ware.
2. InserttheLeicaICC50HD’sUSBcableinto
thecamera’sUSBport,andattachtheother
endofthecabletoyourcomputer.
TheLeicaICC50HDisnowpoweredfrom
yourcomputerviatheUSBcable,andthe
LED signal will quickly change from yellow to
red.WhentheLEDisred,youarereadytoopen
thesoftware.WhentheLeicaimagingsoftware
islaunched,theLEDwillturngreenwithaquick
yellowflash.
4. Follow the software instructions to adjust
andcaptureanimage.
5. If you are using a projector, connect your
computertotheprojectorusingthecable
thatcamewithyourprojector.
An image cannot be seen through the
projectoruntiltheliveimageappearson
yourcomputer.
