Configuring Wi-Fi Settings
You can configure wireless networks on your device, including adding new Wi-Fi connections and
editting currently available networks.
Creating Wireless Connections
1. Open Wireless Manager and then tap Settings > Wi-Fi Settings.
. In Wireless tab, tap Add New… on the screen.
. Enter the Network name and Network type and then tap Next. If you want to connect to
another device instead of a network through an access point, select This is a device-to-device
(ad-hoc) connection.
. Select Authentication type and Data Encryption and enter the Network key and Key index
if needed. Tap Next.
. Select Use IEEE 802.1 x network access control to use EAP (Extensible Authentication
Protocol). Select EAP type: PEAP or Smart Card or Certificate.
. Tap Finish.
The screen for wireless networks configure can only be accessed after a Wi-Fi network is
connected.
