When the PHL5300 starts up the barcode scanner setting in the PHL5300 needs to be
checked. The Launch button should be number 1 (instead of nr. 5).
To check this follow the steps below after the aligning procedure:
Step 1.
Tap the barcode icon in the notification bar.
Step 2.
Tap the settings link.
Step 3.
Change the Trigger key item from Launch
button 5 to Launch button 1.
Step 4.
Tap the OK button to keep the new setting.
Now the barcode scanner can be activated by
the recording button.
At wish also the right and the left hot key
(launch button 2 or 3) can be defined.
Please note that launch button 4 and 5 are not
supported in the PHL5300.
