CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Cleaning Your Appliance

1. Turn the temperature control to 0, unplug the appliance and remove the food,

shelves and trays.

2. Wash the inside with a solution of warm water and baking soda. The solution

should be about 2 tablespoons of baking soda to a quart of water.

3. Wash the shelves and trays with a mild detergent solution. Plastic parts

cannot be washed in a dishwasher.

4. The outside of the appliance should be cleaned with a solution of mild

detergent in warm water.

5. The condenser coils in the back of the unit should be vacuumed when they

are dusty or dirty.

6. Clean the drain pan on the refrigerator compressor. Do not remove the drain

pan.

7. After cleaning, reconnect the appliance to its power source and reload the

food packages.

Changing the Light Bulb

1. Unplug the AC power cord from the wall.

2. Squeeze the tabs at the top and bottom of the

light bulb cover simultaneously.

3. Remove the light bulb cover.

4. Unscrew the bulb.

5. Replace with a 10-watt bulb that is the same

shape and size.

6. Replace the light bulb cover.

Power Failure

Most power failures are corrected within a few hours and should not affect the
temperature of your appliance if you minimize the number of times the door is
opened. If the power will be off for a longer period of time, you need to take the
proper steps to protect your food.

Vacation Time

During long absences, remove all the food. Unplug your appliance, clean it and
leave the door open slightly to avoid formation of condensation, mold and odors.
