1 Remove plastic vacuum hose from rubber
adaptor on the top of valve cover (leave
rubber adaptor in place).

Remove the center console by pulling it
back and up.

Disconnect the shifter cable links.

Remove the shifter base screws.

Remove the shifter cables. Pull the spring
loaded ring away from the shifter base to
release the shifter cable.

Remove the side shift pivot pin. Pry on the
pin with screw driver.

Remove the side shift arm.

Snap off the side shift bushing. Remove
the centering spring. Remove the rubber
grommet.

Remove the shifter cover screws.

Release the shifter cover latch. Remove
the shifter cover and the shifter lever
assembly.

Remove the shifter lever bushing.

File a 1/8 (3mm) chamfer on this side of
the shifter lever to allow removal.

Remove the shifter lever from the cover.

Remove the factory reverse lock link.

Prepare the Boomba Racing reverse lock
link.

Install the Boomba Racing reverse lock
link.

Insert the Boomba Racing shift lever into
the shifter cover.
