11. Remove the center console by pulling it back
and up.
12. Disconnect the shifter cable links.
13. Remove the shifter cables. Pull the spring-loaded ring
away from the shifter base to release the shifter cable.
14. Remove the shifter base screws.
15. Insert small, flat screwdriver through the hole in the side
shift arm. Pry gently on the latch and pull the side shifter arm
out.
16. Remove the side shifter adapter.
