rapid Flow exhaust # 83400
In these steps you will remove the stock exhaust system.
Remove the stock Exhaust:
1. Reach under the air filter boot with a 7/16” deep socket and remove the band clamp that
holds the stock down pipe to the turbo by loosening the nut on the “T” bolt and prying the
clamp loose at the three pinch points. Save this clamp for reuse.
2) Cut the original pipe just after the muffler.
3) Spray the stock hangers with aerosol lubricant and pry the rubber mounts from the
system. Leave the rubber mounts attached to the truck for reuse.
4) Remove the stock exhaust system.
Remove all the necessary exhaust hangers
ImpoRtant: It is illegal in all 50 states and Canada to remove the catalytic converter. Catalytic Converters must be
reinstalled in accordance with Federal Law.
