RAPID FLOW INDuCTION
rEmOvINg ThE STOCk INTAkE
1. Using a flat head screw driver, loosen
the band clamp that holds the intake
tube to the air filter housing. Discon-
nect the intake tube from the filter
housing.
2. The filter housing is held in place by
rubber and plastic grommets. The
housing can be removed in one piece
by pulling upward on the housing
while also applying pressure towards
the engine. Once the filter housing is
loose, push the intake hose away
from the housing and pull the hous-
ing out of the engine bay.
3. Notice the metal plate that sits just
below where the filter housing sits. It is
the plate that holds the filter housing in
place. This plate needs to be removed,
to remove this plate removed. The four
10mm bolts holding the plate in place
and remove the plate. Save at least
three of the four bolts-they will be used
to secure the
RFI.
