Guarantee

Operation of this machine is guaranteed for two years from date of
purchase, subject to normal use. Within the guarantee period, ACCO
Brands Europe will at its own discretion either repair or replace the
defective machine free of charge. Defects due to misuse or use for
inappropriate purposes are not covered under the guarantee. Proof of

date of purchase will be required. Repairs or alterations made by persons
not authorised by ACCO Brands Europe will invalidate the guarantee. It is
our aim to ensure that our products perform to the specifications stated.
This guarantee does not affect the legal rights which consumers have
under applicable national legislation governing the sale of goods.

Paper edge alignment

• Rotate the green knurled wheel to move the edge guide to the

required setting of A4, 11” Letter or US Cover. [Fig. 2]

Select the correct plastic comb

Place the document against the size selector and note the

suggested comb element size.

Use the comb element size guide if you wish to confirm the size of
the comb element you are using.

Place one end of the comb element against the different profiles in

turn to find the appropriate profile.

The separate comb opening mechanism allows you to collate the
documents on the comb whilst punching more pages. Giving you a
quicker binding cycle.

Comb binding

Load the front cover onto the open comb and lower it towards the

front of the machine. [Fig. 5]

Load the internal sheets onto the open comb, repeating until all are

loaded.

Load the rear cover onto the open comb.

Rewind the comb opening knob and remove the bound document.

Emptying the waste tray

A neon warning light will indicate when the tray is full and needs to be
emptied.
Important: The waste tray must ONLY be emptied with the machine

supported in a upright position.

Switch Off the machine, the On/Off switch is located at the rear

right.

Stand the machine upright.

Unclip the tray from the underside of the machine. [Fig. 6]

Release the flap on the bottom of the waste tray to empty the

clippings.

When refitting the tray ensure that it clicks firmly into place before

returning the machine to normal operation.

Storage

Switch Off the machine, the On/Off switch is located at the rear

right.

Disconnect the machine from the power supply.

The machine incorporates feet at the rear to allow vertical storage.

Inserting and opening the comb

Close the ‘comb operating mechanism’ by turning the ‘comb

opening knob’ clockwise.

Place the plastic comb open side up on the comb opening

mechanism. [Fig. 1]

Open the comb by turning the ‘comb opening knob’ anticlockwise.

Punching the document

Insert the sheets into the punching channel and align to the edge

guide. [Fig. 3]

Press the ’Punch’ button on the right of the machine. [Fig. 4]

If the machine is overloaded and fails to complete the punch cycle,
the red neon light will be lit. Press the ‘Punch’ button once to cancel
the red neon light, press again to continue the punch cycle.

The auto reverse neon will flash if the machine does not complete a
punching cycle and automatically reverses. Reduce the number of
sheets and punch again.

Security

• A Security Slot is fitted for use with leading makes of security leash.

E.g.: Kensington Microsaver.

Correcting a bound document

• Additional sheets may be included or removed at any time by opening

and then closing the comb binding as described previously.

LED functions

Machine on and ready

Turn off and remove

sheets manually.

Waste tray full.
