3.07 Primary Input Power Cable
Connections
All units are supplied from the factory as 380/415V, three
phase with a six foot EMC input power cable installed.
A. Single or Three Phase Operation
220V units may be either single or three phase. Depend-
ing on the type of operation, the primary power cable
wiring may need to be changed by the user. Refer to the
following procedure to connect the supplied input EMC
power cable to the customer power source:
For Single-Phase Operation:
Single-phase operation requires a 2-conductor cable
with ground.
a. Locate the ground stud and remove the top nut
and washer.
b. Install a lug terminal on the ground wire.
c. Place the ground wire onto the ground stud
and secure with the nut and washer.
d. Insert the other two wires into the L1 and L2
terminals on the contactor.
e. Tighten all set screws.

Single-Phase Operation
For Three-Phase Operation:
Three-phase operation requires a 3-conductor cable
with ground.
a. Locate the ground stud and remove the top nut
and washer.

c. Place the ground wire onto the ground stud
and secure with the nut and washer.
d. Insert the other three wires into the L1, L2, and
L3 terminals on the contactor.
e. Tighten all set screws.
