3. Aim the reader so that center front face of the reader points toward a spot on the
vehicle lane approximately 18” from the middle front of the entry unit. This usually
requires that the reader be adjustable downward about 45 to 90 degrees (“tilt”),
and slightly toward the approaching
vehicles (“pan”).
