3. Turn the bulb holder to the left and remove
it.
4. Turn the bulb to the right, see arrow, and re‐
move it.
5. Change the bulb and screw it into the bulb
holder toward the left.
6. Insert the bulb holder and turn it to the right.
7. Reattach the cover.
Tail lamps
▷ Brake lamp, backup lamp: W16W bulb,
16 watt
1 Brake lamp
2 Tail lamp, LED
3 Brake lamp
4 Backup lamp
5 Turn signal/dynamic brake lamp*, LED
The lamps of bulbs 2 and 5 use LED technology.
Follow the general instructions on
lamps and
bulbs, refer to page 204 .
Please contact your service center in the event
of a malfunction.
Changing the backup lamp and inner
brake lamp
Press the locking mechanism in the trunk, see
arrow, and remove the cover.
Inner brake lamp
Pull out the bulb holder and replace the bulb.
Fasten the bulb holder and attach the cover.
Backup lamp
Pull out the bulb holder and replace the bulb.
Fasten the bulb holder and attach the cover.
