UNLOADING AMMUNITION

On certain occasions, due to lack of gas pressure left in the bottle, it is possible that
ammunition will become lodged in the barrel. It can also remain lodged in the magazine.
Whenever you have to remove ammunition in this way, APPLY the safety catch and gently
loosen the bottle retaining screw. Remove the left hand grip cover with the thumb (see fig.
C) and the gas bottle will come loose. With the barrel pointing towards the ground, open the
top cover of the pistol.

WARNING:

Make sure that the safety catch is applied and that the gas bottle has

been removed before proceeding with the removal of ammunition.

1. AMMUNITION STUCK IN THE BARREL. Remove the magazine. Insert a 4,5

mm (.177”) cleaning rod into the breech of the barrel (fig. B.4), and push it
through until the barrel i s cleared of ammunition. Afterwards, clean the barrel
with the brush attachment of the cleaning rod to remove particles of lead which
may have become caught in the rifling.

2. AMMUNITION STUCK IN THE MAGAZINE. Remove the ammunition with the

aid of a pointed instrument (a large needle, for example)
