SYSTEM ERROR

An error of some kind has occurred in the machine. (xxx stands for a number.)
Disconnect the machine from the power supply and wait for 10 minutes, then
reconnect it. If this does not solve the problem, disconnect the machine and call your
local authorized Canon dealer.
TONER EMPTY
The toner cartridge is empty.
Replace the toner cartridge with a new one. (See “Replacing the Toner Cartridge,” on
p. 5-19.)
TONER LEVEL LOW
The toner inside the toner cartridge is running low.
Prepare a new toner cartridge, or replace the toner cartridge with a new one. (See
“Replacing the Toner Cartridge,” on p. 5-19.)
WASTE TONER FULL
The waste toner in the drum unit is full.
Replace the drum unit. (For details, contact your local authorized Canon dealer.)
