Shooting With the Digital Zoom

Press the zoom lever toward and shoot.
z The combined digital and optical
zoom setting will display in the LCD
monitor.
z Based on the number of recording
pixels set, the Safety Zoom feature
calculates the maximum zoom factor
beyond which image quality will begin to deteriorate. The
digital zoom pauses at this zoom factor for a moment, and
appears on the LCD monitor.
If you press the zoom lever toward again, you can zoom
in even closer. The color of the zoom factor display
represents the following.
- White: The image quality will not deteriorate.
- Blue: The image quality will deteriorate.
z Press the zoom lever toward to zoom out.
