Dell PowerEdge Server Slot Priority
The Dell PowerEdge Server expansion card slot priority tables can be found in the
Hardware Owner’s manuals posted on Support.dell.com for each server.
The LSI 9300-8e HBA should be installed in the PowerEdge server using the same
guidelines for slot priority as the Dell 6Gbps SAS HBA. This verbiage may vary
depending on the server and the version of the hardware owner’s manual, but may be
listed in one of the following ways in the slot priority matrix: Dell 6Gbps SAS HBA,
Non-RAID, or All other Dell storage cards.
