Using Your Inspiron Laptop
1 Microphone
— Provides quality sound for video chatting and voice recording.
2 Camera — Built-in camera for video capture, conferencing, and chat.
3 Camera indicator light — Indicates if the camera is on or off. A white light indicates that
the camera is on.
4 Display bezel — Outer frame which holds the display panel.
5 Display panel — Rotate the display panel to set your laptop to the tablet mode. For more
information, see “Set Up the Tablet Mode” on page 20.
6 Ambient light sensor — Ambient light sensor detects the available environment light and
adjusts the brightness of the display backlighting.
