Exhausted Cleaning Media

If a cleaning tape is inserted into a DLT/SDLT drive and the light remains on after tape eject,
the cleaning tape may be exhausted. See the following to determine that you are using the
proper cleaning tape for your drive type. If so, try another cleaning tape. Depending on the drive
model, if the light does not go off, there may be a hardware fault in the drive or expired media is
being used.
