Display Release Latch

Follow the instructions in "
Preparing to Work Inside the Computer
."
2.
Remove the left, right, and center
hinge covers
.
3.
Remove the
keyboard
.
4.
Remove the
display assembly
.
5.
Remove the
keyboard bracket
.
6.
Remove the
palm rest
.
7.
Remove the
speakers
.
8.
Remove the two M2.5 x 6-mm screws from either side of the display release latch.
9.
Pull the display release latch straight up and away from the computer base.
