Audio Port Assembly
Dell™ Vostro™ 230 Service Manual— Mini Tower
Removing the Audio Port Assembly
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
2. Remove the cover .
3. Remove the front bezel .
4. Disconnect the audio cable from the system board.
5. Unthread the audio cable from the clips on the computer.
6. Loosen the screws that secure the audio port assembly to the computer chassis.
7. Remove the audio port assembly from the computer.
Replacing the Audio Port Assembly
To replace the audio port assembly, perform the above steps in reverse order.
