Dell OpenManage Power Center v1.2

Dell OpenManage Power Center provides aggregated power measurement and capping at a
rack, row, and room level enabling customers to increase their server density by capping power
at a rack level and mitigate risk from power and thermal events by invoking customer pre-
defined policies that let essential applications continue longer while cutting back on the power
used by lesser priority applications such as file and print servers. The Dell OpenManage Power
Center is an open, standards-based power management application that can read power usage
information from PowerEdge yx1x and yx2x servers, Power Distribution Units (PDUs),
Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS), and the M1000e blade server chassis. It controls power
consumption at the rack level, the row level, and the room level to improve power efficiency,
cut total power usage, and provides better intelligence for decision making. With the latest
release of Dell OpenManage Power Center we are adding Linux support and LDAP
authentication, supporting Windows 8 and Windows servers 2012. We have increased the
number of supported nodes from 2000 to 4000.
