Installing the Bezel

 

1.

Align the three bezel release tabs with the system's front panel.

 

2.

Press the bezel onto the system until it snaps into place.

 

3.

Install the screw that secures the bezel to the front panel. See

Figure C

-1

.


 

4.

Install any 5.25-inch optical or tape drives that you removed to gain access to the bezel release tab. See "

5.25-Inch Optical and Tape Drives

" in

"Installing Drives."

 

5.

Close the system. See "

Closing the System

" in "Troubleshooting Your System."


 

6.

Reconnect the system to the electrical outlet, and turn on the system.

 

Control Panel

 

Removing the Control Panel

 

 

1.

Turn off the system and attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet.

 

2.

Open the system. See "

" in "Troubleshooting Your System."


 

3.

Remove the bezel. See "

."


 

4.

Disconnect the control panel cable that connects to the I/O panel. See

Figure C

-2

.


 

5.

Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, remove the screw that secures the control panel to the front panel. See

Figure C

-2
