Your computer supports one power supply rated at an output of 800 to 900 W.

 

Removing the Power Supply

 

1.

Perform the steps in

Before Working on Your Computer

.


 

2.

Disconnect the power cable from the power supply and remove the cable from the cable retention bracket.

 

3.

At the back of the computer, release the locking tab on the left side of the power supply by pressing in toward the right, and rotate the power-supply
handle up until the power supply is released from the chassis.

 

4.

Pull the power supply straight back to clear the chassis.

 

Replacing the Power Supply

 

1.

With the power-supply handle in the extended position, slide the new power supply into the chassis.

 

2.

Rotate the handle down until it is completely flush with the power-supply faceplate and the locking tab engages.

After installing a new power supply, allow several seconds for the computer to recognize the power supply and determine whether it is working

properly. The power supply status indicator turns green to signify that the power supply is functioning properly.
