Removing the Base Cover

 

1.

Follow the instructions in

Before You Begin

.


 

2.

Remove the battery pack (see

Removing the Battery Pack

).


 

3.

Remove the four screws that secure the base cover to the computer base.

 

4.

Slide the base cover towards the rear of the computer, lift it up, and remove it from the computer.

 

Replacing the Base Cover

 

1.

Follow the instructions in

Before You Begin

.


 

2.

Align the tabs on the base cover with the slots on the computer base and slide the base cover into place.

 

3.

Replace the four screws that secure the base cover to the computer base.

 

4.

Replace the battery pack (see

Replacing the Battery Pack

).
