Brightness/Volume-control buttons (2)

When not connected to an external input video device
(PC mode), press to increase or decrease the brightness
of the screen.
When connected to an external input video device
(AV mode), press to increase or decrease the volume.

Input source selection button/screen-off
button

Press and release to switch between the input source.
Press and hold to turn off the display.

Hard-drive activity light

Turns on when the computer reads from or writes to the
hard drive.

Power button

Press to turn on the computer if it is turned off or in
Sleep state. Press to put the computer in Sleep state if
it is turned on. Press and hold for 10 seconds to force
shut‑down the computer.

Media-card reader

Reads from and writes to media cards.

USB 3.0 ports (2)

Connect peripherals such as storage devices, printers, and
