Removing the I/O Board

Prerequisites

Remove the base cover. See "Removing the Base Cover" on page 10.

Remove the battery. See "Removing the Battery" on page 12.

3

Remove the hard-drive. See "Removing the Hard Drive" on page 17.

Procedure

1

Lift the latch and disconnect the I/O-board cable from the I/O board.

2

Remove the screw that secures the I/O board to the palm-rest assembly.

3

Lift the I/O board off the palm-rest assembly.
