Prerequisites
1 Remove the base cover .
2 Remove the battery .
3 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in removing the hard drive .
4 Remove the fan .
5 Remove the keyboard .
6 Remove the base frame .
7 Remove the heat sink .
8 Remove the display assembly .
Procedure
1 Peel off the power-adapter port cable from the palm-rest assembly.
2 Disconnect the power-adapter port cable from the system board.
