Verify that your cluster hardware and storage systems installed and configured properly as explained in the following

NOTICE:

Microsoft® Windows® standby mode and hibernation mode are not supported in cluster configurations. Do

not enable either mode.

Connecting the Storage Systems to Your Cluster

This section provides information for connecting your cluster to one or more storage systems using direct-attached cable

connections.

Direct-Attached Cluster

A direct-attached cluster configuration consists of redundant Fibre Channel HBAs cabled directly to a Dell | EMC storage

system. Direct-attach configurations are self-contained and do not share any physical resources with other server or storage

systems outside of the cluster.

Figure 4-1

shows an example of a direct-attached, single cluster configuration with redundant HBAs installed in each cluster

node.
