The following audio files are converted to the ATRAC3 format and can be imported to
OpenMG Jukebox.

• MP3 file

Raw MP (extension: .mp3) or RIFF MP3 (extension: .wav, .mp3) of 16 bits,
monaural/stereo, 32 kHz/44.1 kHz/48 kHz.

• WAV file (extension: .wav)

WAV files of linear PCM, 16 bits, monaural/stereo, 32 kHz/44.1 kHz/48 kHz;

• WMT (Windows Media Technologies) compliant audio file (extension: .wma,

.asf)

WMT files of 16 bits, monaural/stereo, 44.1 kHz.
Depending on the copyright protection, some WMT compliant audio files may not
be available for importing.

To transfer (check-out) songs to the Net MD, it is necessary to convert the audio files to
be checked-out into ATRAC3 format. (It is also possible to import files in their original

format and to convert into ATRAC3 format when checking-out.)

1 Change the settings for importing according to your external device/

media.

© Select [Options] from the [Tool] menu. Then click the [Import] tab.
@ Select [With the following External Device/Media] from [Set the default

External Device/Media], and select your Net MD from the displayed list.

This setting is applied automatically for the check-out format when importing data.
