Using Closed Caption

(U.S.A. models only)

To return to the normal screen

Press MENU.

The closed caption system checks for
errors before captions or text appear. If
an error is found, the mistake does not
appear: a white box appears instead, in

most cases, this allows you to read the
caption without difficulty. Of course, not
all errors can be found, and in some
cases mistakes may appear.

Poor reception of any TV station can
cause poor reception of the ciosed
caption signal causing errors or missing
captions.
