Editing onto Another Tape
You can create vour own videti program by editing with any other
0 8 mm, Hi0 Hi8, VMS VHS, SVHSj S-
VHS,
VHSH VHSC, SiVHSH S-VHSC, ra Betamax or BaB«a| ED Betamax VCR that has video/audio inputs.
Alter connecting the camcorder to the VCR (p. 18),
(1) Turn the POWER switch to Pl.AYER.

Insert cl bl.mk tcipo (or a tape voii want to record over) into the recording; VCR. Then insert vour
recorded tape into the camcorder.
(3) Pla\ back the recorded tape on the camcorder until you locate the point where voii want to start
editing. Tlien set the camcorder to playback pause mode.
(4) Set the recording V'CR to recording pause mode.
(5) Press II on the camcorder and VCR simultaneously to start editing.

Repeat steps ,8 to a.
To Stop Editing
Press ■ STOP on the camcorder and VCR.
Use of the EDITSEARCH button
To play back a tape in the forward or reverse direction keep pressing EDITSEARCH during playback
pause. You can play back still pictures successively at specific intervals by pressing EDITSEARCH
intermittently
