3. Insert the film leader
into the threading slot (7)
below the white guide
roller and turn master
switch (10) to its threading
position. The leader
should be pushed into the
slot some 4 inches or
10 cm deep, until it is
positively gripped by the
drive mechanism and
automatically threaded
through the film path.
Keep the master, switch on
threading until the leader
emerges in the take-up
reel and is tightly wound
around it. The entire
threading operation from
reel to reel is automatic,
except for insertion of the
leader.
