1.0 Introduction and General Information
Thank you for purchasing the Model B 120 counting scale. Please read all
operating instructions carefully before using and note the following items:
• Unpack the scale and install the battery if it was not factory installed. Plug
the charging unit into a properly grounded outlet. The charging plug fits
into a receptacle on the bottom of the scale, in the left rear corner.
Charge the battery for a full 12 hours before using the scale. Battery life
when fully charged is approximately 20 hours.
• Place the scale on a stable, level surface.
• Level the scale using the adjustable feet and the bubble level at the lower
left of the front panel. Tighten the locking ring on each foot once the scale
is level.
• Apply power to the scale by moving the power switch, located on the
bottom of the scale, to the ON position.
• The Low Batt annunciator will light when the battery voltage gets low. If
voltage drops too low for operation, a beeper will sound for two minutes
before the scale automatically shuts off.
• The scale battery will charge while operating on AC power.
2.0 Battery Installation
Follow these steps if you need to install the battery.
Remove the screw holding the battery compartment lid on the bottom of the
scale.
