ANALOG CONTROLLERS

SP 12BRK / SP 12RUT

The SP12 BRK mono controller has been designed to optimise
the overall performance of QUBE BRK speakers. The module
slots into the back of PA 300 and PA 360 amplifiers. The SP12
BRK provides the system with an equalisation stage that improves
speaker frequency response and, thanks to a combination of
protection systems, prevents damage to the cones when driven at
maximum power.

The SP12 RUT controller incorporate a high pass crossover filter
piloting the full-range section of the system as well as protection
circuits designed to prevent damage to the cones when driven at
maximum power.

is a 2-in/2-out digital signal processor (DSP) designed to optimise the performance of all loudspeakers in theQUBE range.

Model

are easily installed in the rear panel of a QUBE amplifier, or it can be rack-mounted when using other power amplifiers (in this

case the

adapter is used to install two SP22 modules).

Model

is designed for use with 2-way full-range speakers (Q106,Q208, Q110, Q112, Q115, QM115); model

is designed for

use with subwoofers (QS112, QS115, QS118, QS218).

The main characteristics are as follows:

° Frequency range equalisation to optimise frequency response and power response.
° High precision control of power delivered to loudspeakers bymeans of an amplifier output sensing function.
° Woofer excursion control
° High pass filter
° Fast rolloff crossovers (steep slope)
° Delays on both channels to compensate for verticalmisalignment
° General delay on both channels from 0.25 m to 64m.
° 4 configurationmodes: stereo/biamp/bridge/parallel
° 2 XLR inputs
° 2 parallel XLR outputs
° 8 dipswitches to change the delay on both channels
° 4-position selector for 4 configurationmodes: stereo/biamp/bridge/parallel
° 1 dipswitch (1) for SUB/PHASE selection: SUB mode activates the high pass filter when SP 22 is utilised to control a satellite; for the
model SP22Ds PHASEmodeinvertsthe phase (180deg. rotation) on the subwoofer
° 3 dipswitches (2/3/4) to select cabinet model (8 models)
