The nuts will tighten down and bottom out on the shoulder bolts. The nuts have
“nyloc” and do not require any thread locker (the end of each hinge bolt must
show at least two threads of the bolt to ensure the nyloc nut is fully engaged).
Make sure all hardware is tight.

If you do not have at least two full threads of each shoulder bolt
showing beyond the nylock nut, the hardware is NOT properly installed
and the hinge bolts may come loose causing damage and/or injury.

Relocation of the Rubber Latch

The rubber latch is required to keep the rear section in the closed position. The
latch is located on the right side (passenger side) of the trailer. Remove the nut
and bolt on the bottom section of the rubber latch and remove the rubber latch.
Install the rubber latch using the supplied 8” rubber latch anchor bracket and
hardware to the front section of the trailer so that it is directly underneath the
